hot buttered Anejo
Anejo Tequila, Light Agave, Lime, Orange, Cinnamon, Butter, Pink Peppercorn-Pink Salt Rim
30 minutes before making this drink, set out a tablespoon of butter on your counter to soften a bit. When you're ready to make the drink, dab the rim and top edge of the glass with a lime wedge and apply your pink peppercorn-salt mix* to the mug. In the hot, tempered mug (see hot toddy instructions) add very hot water just past the halfway point of the mug.
1 1/2 oz. T.C. Craft Anejo Tequila
1 tablespoon light agave syrup
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice that has been strained
1 tablespoon orange juice
1 dash of cinnamon
Stir together and taste and adjust your level of sweetness accordingly. Slice the tablespoon of softened butter in half and add both halves to the drink. Stir with a sprig of rosemary and enjoy.
Pink Peppercorn-Salt Mix: Add 1 tablespoon of pink peppercorns to a mortar and pestle and grind until coarse. Add 1 tablespoon of pink sea salt and mix together.
